A sleeper of the vintage, this impeccably well run St.-Estephe has produced a dark ruby/purple-colored 2003 with a sweet nose of cassis and blackberries intertwined with hints of licorice and earth. Medium-bodied, concentrated, and plump, it is a tasty effort to drink during its first decade of life.
