Robert M. Parker, Jr. 02/1997 on

Before bottling, the 1994 De Fieuzal appeared to be as good, if not better than the 1993, but two bottles tasted after bottling exhibited moldy, wet cardboard-like noses that made judgment impossible. It is rare to get two corked bottles in a row, so I will retaste this wine and report on it later this year.
