1998 Château Talbot - St Julien 4 Ième Grand Cru Classé

1998 Château Talbot - the colour all cherry red here. Tons of fruit on the nose red as well as dark : red berry jam, dark cherries and cassis. A touch of wood (cedar) and a lovely spiciness too. This is a very accessible, easy drinking wine, so at the perfect drinking period, especially for those who like gentle fruity wines. It’s lively and young though just a bit light perhaps (medium bodied),all in all a more than lovely, supple and feminine StJulien.
