Delivery and Transport

What does delivery cost?

Transport costs vary depending on the destination (Zone 0 to 7 inclusive) and the volume.

You can find an overview of the zones here.

Everything is calculated automatically on our website. You are naturally free to contact your own carrier/courier service to arrange collection of your order, at your own risk and cost.

Can I have my order delivered to an alternative address?

At the end of the ordering process, you can clearly enter the delivery address.

Are local import taxes still due?

As every country applies its own regulations on this matter it is best to contact customs in the destination country.

What about delivery times?

The delivery time depends on the location/country you want your order delivered to.

After receipt of your payment, our courier service delivers in Europe within 3 to 5 working days – it may take up to 10 working days outside of Europe. Naturally we do not accept liability in cases of force majeure.

Can I come and collect my order?

You may come and collect your order during our office hours - we recommend that you inform us in advance.

You can do so from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., and until 3 p.m. on Friday.

The wine is only handed over if we have received payment in full - You can also pay for your order by credit card or in cash when you come and collect it.


Is my order insured during transport?

At the end of the ordering process, you can select standard CMR insurance or full insurance. CMR insurance is free and only pays out based on the weight of the damage (12.50 €/kg) - full insurance costs 1% of the wine's total purchase value and pays out 100% of the value in the event of any effective damage incurred.

  • The fastest and most secure payment method is by credit card via Ogone Secure - this means that your order can be dispatched within 24 hours. We offer the following options:

What guarantee do I have if the wine I buy is bad or cork tainted?

As we trade in old and exclusive wine, it is not possible for us to offer any form of guarantee - we always strive to supply products of the highest possible quality - however it is impossible for us to offer any guarantee for wine older then 10 years.

With regard to cork tainted wine, as this happens during the bottling process we cannot revert to the producer and it is also impossible for us to offer any guarantee for such cases.
