Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery

The following Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery apply to all Belgium Wine Watchers BVBA special offers. The conditions are available for anyone to consult and are also included on our home page. We will send you a written copy on request.

1. Prices

All prices are in Euro, exclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery costs, unless stated otherwise.

2. Price changes

Belgium Wine Watchers BVBA reserves the right to change prices and correct any errors at any time. If a price change has an effect on the order(s) you have placed, you have the right to cancel them without any charge.

3. Availability

All Belgium Wine Watchers BVBA offers are without obligation and subject to availability. We will inform you if, unexpectedly, a product is no longer available and may suggest an alternative. We will contact you by e-mail.

4. Photos and illustrations

Photographic images and illustrations on our website are purely indicatif. Actual labels can differ from those depicted on the website.

5. Foreign orders

Belgium Wine Watchers BVBA, a Belgian company, is subject to Belgian law, regulations and procedures. If the recipient of our products is not located in the country from which they are dispatched, the recipient is liable for any sales tax or import duty in the destination country.

6. Payment

Belgium Wine Watchers BVBA only delivers after payment has been received in advance or if cash is paid upon collection. Payment upon receipt of invoice is possible for our established customers.

7. Deliveries

The delivery times provided on the website and in the order confirmation are purely indicative and do not constitute an exact deadline. Belgium Wine Watchers BVBA cannot be held liable at any time for any damage resulting from delivery times being exceeded.

8. Transport

All our prices are exclusive of transport and insurance costs. Belgium Wine Watchers BVBA is happy to organise transport for you. We will select a carrier depending on the size and urgency of your order. We will send you a quotation for the delivery costs for your approval.

9. Complaints

If, on receipt, you notice that the delivered product does not correspond to your order, you must contact us directly by e-mail (info@belgiumwinewatchers.com) or by telephone on +32-(0)3-2956060. Your complaint will then be handled accordingly.

10. Guarantee

What guarantee do I have if the wine I buy is bad or cork tainted? As we trade in old and exclusive wine, it is not possible for us to offer any form of guarantee - we always strive to supply products of the highest possible quality - however it is impossible for us to offer any guarantee for wine older then 10 years.

With regard to cork tainted wine, as this happens during the bottling process we cannot revert to the producer and it is also impossible for us to offer any guarantee for such cases.

11. Cancellations

You may change or cancel your online order within 14 days of placing it, without providing a reason for doing so. However, this does not apply to the perishable products that we supply.

12. Personal data

Belgium Wine Watchers BVBA guarantees that your personal details and information will be handled with the strictest confidence and will not be made available to third parties.

13. Transaction amount

Please note that the transaction amount will be charged directly to your credit card at the time of the transaction.

14. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, the Courts of Antwerp shall be the sole competent courts. The amount of any potential damages can never exceed the value of the ordered and delivered goods.
All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp. Information regarding alternative dispute resolution can be found via this link: http://ec.europa.eu/odr nevertheless we reserve the right to submit any disputes exclusively to the courts.
